About Jenna
Jenna is a multi-certified Child Life Specialist, Board-Certified Music Therapist, and Reiki Master, with specialized training in Music Therapy Assisted Childbirth, NICU Music Therapy, Neurologic Music Therapy, and Mindfulness Meditation.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Berklee College of Music and a Master’s in Music Therapy from New York University. Additionally, Jenna has completed three years of training in Traditional Oriental Medicine at Emperor’s College.
​
Currently, Jenna is pursuing her LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) credential through Pepperdine University’s Clinical Psychology Graduate Program.

Jenna’s therapeutic philosophy is deeply informed by existential, humanistic, multicultural, feminist, and somatic theories. She believes that healing is an integrative process, where diverse therapeutic modalities complement each other to support the whole person. This approach emphasizes emotional expression, nervous system regulation, and self-discovery, creating space for self-reflection and creative outlets for emotional processing.

Jenna specializes in grief work, supporting individuals impacted by illness, as well as parents navigating the perinatal experience. She is passionate about working with individuals who are exploring their identities throughout the seasons of life, helping them understand themselves more deeply as they move through life’s transitions.

With a strong belief in the mind-body connection, Jenna provides a safe, nurturing space for individuals to explore their emotions and experiences. She is dedicated to offering a supportive environment for emotional expression, nervous system regulation, and creative outlets for processing grief, trauma, and self-discovery.

Through her private practice, Root, Jenna offers individualized 1:1 healing services, Reiki certification trainings, healing workshops, customizable wellness retreats, Music Therapy consultations and hospital program development consulting. Root also provides continuing education courses, specialized experiences, and clinical supervision focused on building resilience against compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and burnout.

Jenna is based in Los Angeles and New York and provides telehealth services.
